Ive been an admirer of Dali for about two years now, I think alot of what his art expresses can teach everyone something about themselves if we let it. It can be shocking to try to let the true meaning of some of his work reflect something inside of us but the shivers I get let me know that something in my subconscious knows its true.

I recreated "the metamorphasis of the matador", in my own unique way represnting a metamorphasis in fasion using my favorite designers at the time ( MqQueen, W<, Gaultier, Galiano, and some others I forgot). Recreating one of his works enabled me to really appreciate his style, as it was much different from a work of Magritte's that I also did.
One can appreciate his philosophy from the many interviews he has done, as well as his literature. He was quite a multifaceted individual.
everyone has their own flavor, thus I am sure many have a favorite piece.
However as much as I like him, I believe he was not the father of surrealism.
